Sa Pinto and Dimas complete the Portuguese selection for Global United FC. They join Fernando Couto as second and third signings.

Sa Pinto and Dima Teixeira just signed their contract to play for the Global United FC team against the Dayton Dutch Lions FC on April 30. With the two signings the total selection from Portugal is complete, after Fernando Couto was announced to play for GU FC earlier this week. The three total 199 caps for the Portuguese National Team.

He played at UEFA Euro 1996, scoring the equalizing goal against Denmark (1-1) in the first game, and during Euro 2000. Pinto's last game was in the 6–0 win over Cyprus, on June 6, 2001. An injury prevented him from being present at the 2002 FIFA World Cup finals. In total he played 322 games in the Premier Leagues scoring 59 goals.
