In our initial season Johan Wigger will play for the Dayton Dutch Lions FC. Formerly the defending midfielder played for First Division club FC Emmen and currently he is captain of German club SV Meppen.

Johan Wigger is very positive about his transfer to Dayton. "I'm very enthousiastic about playing and working in the U.S. for DDL FC. I'm ready for this step, I can't wait to start there," says Wigger.

Besides playing he will also strenghten the Dayton Dutch Lions FC office in the Marketing and Sales department. Johan will start working for the Dutch Lions FC March 1, 2010.
